Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 14th September 2026

Last Updated: 14th September 2026

At SkyAppend Ltd, we are committed to providing professional digital services with transparency, fairness, and clear communication. This Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which clients may cancel services, projects, subscriptions, or other arrangements with us.

By purchasing or engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Cancellation Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to digital services provided by SkyAppend Ltd, including:

  • Website design and development
  • WordPress and WooCommerce development
  • Custom software and coding services
  • Website maintenance and support
  • Website speed optimisation
  • Digital consulting and strategy services
  • Recurring or monthly services
  • Other agreed digital services

The specific cancellation terms may also be set out in a quotation, proposal, service agreement, or other written agreement between SkyAppend Ltd and the client.

2. Project Cancellation

Clients may request cancellation of a project at any time by contacting us in writing.

If cancellation is requested before work has started, we may consider whether any advance payment can be refunded in accordance with our Refund Policy and the terms agreed for the project.

If work has already started, cancellation may result in charges for work completed, time spent, milestones delivered, resources allocated, and any non-refundable third-party costs.

3. Cancellation After Work Has Started

Once project work has commenced, cancellation may not automatically entitle the client to a refund.

Depending on the circumstances, SkyAppend Ltd may charge for:

  • Work already completed
  • Hours already worked
  • Completed project milestones
  • Design or development work already delivered
  • Resources allocated to the project
  • Third-party services or purchases
  • Administrative or project management costs

Any refund, where applicable, will be considered in accordance with our Refund Policy.

4. Deposits and Advance Payments

Deposits and advance payments may be used to reserve project availability, allocate resources, begin planning, or commence project work.

Once project preparation or work has started, deposits and advance payments may be non-refundable, subject to applicable UK law and the specific terms agreed with the client.

5. Recurring and Monthly Services

Clients may cancel recurring services, including maintenance, support, or other monthly service plans, by providing written notice before the next billing cycle.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payments already made for the current billing period are generally non-refundable once the service has commenced, subject to applicable consumer rights and law.

6. Cancellation Due to Client Delays

SkyAppend Ltd may suspend or close a project where progress is prevented by prolonged client delays, including:

  • Failure to provide required content or information
  • Failure to provide necessary login credentials or access
  • Failure to provide feedback or approvals
  • Failure to respond to reasonable communications
  • Repeated delays in approving project milestones

Where a project is cancelled or closed due to prolonged client delays, charges may apply for work already completed and resources already allocated.

7. Rescheduling or Pausing a Project

Clients may request that a project be temporarily paused or rescheduled.

Approval of a project pause is subject to our availability and the circumstances of the request. Extended pauses may affect project timelines, pricing, availability, or previously agreed delivery dates.

Where a project remains inactive for an extended period, SkyAppend Ltd may treat the project as cancelled or closed and may issue a final invoice for outstanding work or costs.

8. Cancellation by SkyAppend Ltd

SkyAppend Ltd reserves the right to cancel or terminate a service or project where reasonably necessary, including circumstances involving:

  • Non-payment or overdue invoices
  • Breach of the agreed terms
  • Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour
  • Unlawful or fraudulent activity
  • Misuse of our services
  • Circumstances that make it impractical or unlawful for us to continue providing the service

Where we cancel a service, we will normally provide reasonable notice where practical.

Any refund due, if applicable, will be considered based on the work completed, payments received, and applicable terms and legal requirements.

9. Third-Party Services

Cancellation of our services does not necessarily cancel third-party services purchased or used in connection with a project.

This may include:

  • Domain registrations
  • Web hosting
  • Premium plugins
  • Themes
  • Software licences
  • Third-party subscriptions
  • External APIs or services

Third-party charges may be subject to the provider’s own cancellation and refund policies and may not be refundable.

10. Cancellation of Consulting or Scheduled Services

Consultations, meetings, strategy sessions, and other scheduled services may be cancelled or rescheduled by contacting us in advance.

Where a scheduled service has already taken place, or where cancellation occurs shortly before the scheduled appointment and resources have already been allocated, the applicable fee may remain payable.

11. Cancellation and Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Cancellation Policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights that consumers may have under applicable UK consumer protection laws.

Where UK consumer law provides a statutory right to cancel a contract, that right will apply subject to any lawful exceptions or conditions.

For certain digital services, including services that begin with the customer’s agreement before the end of a statutory cancellation period, specific legal requirements may apply.

12. Effect of Cancellation

Following cancellation, SkyAppend Ltd may:

  • Stop further work on the project
  • Disable or suspend applicable services
  • Issue any outstanding invoices for completed work
  • Provide agreed project files or deliverables where applicable
  • Remove access to services that have been cancelled
  • Continue to retain necessary records in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations

Cancellation does not automatically remove any outstanding payment obligations relating to work already completed or services already provided.

13. Refunds Following Cancellation

Cancellation and refunds are separate matters.

A cancellation does not automatically result in a refund. Any refund will be assessed according to the circumstances, the work completed, the terms of the applicable agreement, our Refund Policy, and applicable UK law.

14. How to Request Cancellation

To request cancellation, please contact us in writing and provide:

  • Full name
  • Business or organisation name, where applicable
  • Email address
  • Invoice or project reference
  • Service or project being cancelled
  • Requested cancellation date
  • Reason for cancellation, where applicable

We will acknowledge the request and confirm the applicable cancellation arrangements.

15. Outstanding Payments

If a cancellation occurs while invoices or other payments remain outstanding, the client remains responsible for amounts properly due for services already provided, work completed, or costs incurred before the cancellation date.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.

Any revised version will be published on this page with an updated Last Updated date.
